Week 4 Day 6 Food

Breakfast:


  • Starbucks Hot chocolate

Lunch:


  • Cafe Rio - Pork enchilada

  • rice

Dinner:

  • Corn cake fritter things
  • sweet potatoes
  • honeydew melon
  • white grape juice

We walked the usual route.


Week 4 Day 5 Food

Breakfast:
  • Starbuck's Hot chocolate
Lunch:
  • Leftover polenta, mushroom/tomato/artichoke sauce
  • green beens
  • Dr. P
  • oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
Dinner:
  • Leftover orzo concoction
  • OJ

We didn't walk today.

Week 4 Day 4 Food

I weighed 165# this morning.

Breakfast:
* VMHC x2
Lunch:
* Split pea soup (again)
* Crackers
* Yogurt
* Grapes
Dinner:
* Soft polenta with mushroom, tomato, artichoke sauce
* milk
* oatmeal choc. chip cookies

Week 4 Day 3 Food

Lunch:

  • Leftover salmon, spinach, garbanzo “mojo”
  • A few Dove dark chocolates (one of my favorites)
  • Milk

Snack:

  • Yogurt

Dinner:

  • Split pea soup (note to self: make smaller batches of soup)
  • Toast
  • OJ

  • Salmon with “mojo” sauce
  • Spinach with garbanzo beans

Dinner (an odd combination, but…):

·         Chips and homemade guacamole

·         Leftover beets and gnocchi

·         Milk

·         Ice cream

Week 3 Summary

I did pretty well this week.  One chicken meal, one meat meal, and walked 6 days.  Overall, I feel pretty much the same.  Perhaps over a longer term, I’ll notice something.  But, hopefully my cholesterol will go down.  That’s the main thing I’m hoping will come of this.

 

Week 3 Day 7 Food

Breakfast:

  • Toast with butter
  • OJ
  • Hot chocolate (milk & quik)

 

Lunch (I had my meat allotment left, and I didn’t want to waste it on a McD cheeseburger, so we went to Red Robin):

  • Bonzai burger
  • Fries (and fry sauce – yummy)
  • Dr. P

 

Dinner (I made split pea soup in the crockpot):

  • Split pea soup (vegan)
  • OJ
