  • Crudités

Dinner:

  • Leftover red pepper tart
  • Bread
  • Berry Pie
  • Milk

  • Ginger carrot soup
  • Bread
  • Chips ahoy
  • Milk

Dinner:

  • Red pepper tart (sort of like quiche)
  • Asparagus
  • Melon
  • Milk
  • Ice cream

Later:

  • Apple cider

Week 9 Day 2 Food

Last night’s giant dinner was way too much.  I didn’t feel red hot this morning, so I think I’m going to take it easy on the food today.

  • Clementine

Lunch:

  • A few Wheat Thins
  • Clementine

Snack:

  • Choc. Chip cookie

Dinner:

  • Ginger carrot soup
  • Salad with fruit, etc.
  • bread
  • Milk

Week 9 Day 1 Food

Lunch (Company Xmas luncheon):

  • Turkey (one slice)
  • Potatoes/gravy
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Corn
  • Roll
  • Coke
  • Clementine
  • Potato salad

Dinner (Ruth’s Chris - Oh, so much food; way too much, actually)

  • Lemonade
  • Shrimp
  • Crab-stuffed mushroom
  • Lobster bisque
  • Filet
  • Potatoes Lyonnaise
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Broccoli au gratin
  • Mushrooms
  • Chocolate cake/chocolate mousse dessert

Week 8 Summary

Not a super week this week.  The holidays are taking their toll on my goals, unfortunately.  Out of convenience while shopping, and from laziness and mistakes with my salad order, I ended up eating chicken twice (although not a ton of it in my salad), and I only walked 3 times (does skiing count? J).

The good news is that my blood pressure at one of those grocery store kiosks was lower than I can ever remember: 101/69.

Lunch (Xmas shopping; Paradise Bakery):
  • Southwest chicken caesar salad (I wanted the one without chicken, but she put it in anyway, and I didn't complain, so I just ate it)

  • Coke
Dinner (still shopping, so went to Chick-Fil-A; I know, too much chicken, but it's also about being flexible):
  • Chicken sandwich
  • fries
  • Dr. P

  • apple cider
