After cruise report

Day after returning - Weight: 166.  I gained maybe a pound or two. J  I got my blood test results from my pre-cruise insurance physical just a few days ago.  My cholesterol dropped from 228 to 185: 43 points.  I haven’t been on my diet since I left for the trip.  I’m still trying to decide what to do now that I’m back.  I still try to eat better, but I don’t track things.  Based on that cholesterol result, I think I may have to adopt at least a modified version of my original rules.

Week 15 Summary

Last ditch effort before I had my life insurance underwriting health exam.  I should have walked more, but I did very good on my food…

 

Weight today: 162 lbs. (although the life insurance scale had me at 168 with clothes on)

I’m getting pretty tired of keeping track of this stuff.  Plus, I’m going on a cruise on Tuesday, so all bets are off then – no rules.  So, I think I’m going to call it quits for now.  I will revisit when I return.  Hopefully I’ll get my test results from the life insurance exam soon, so I can see what the effect has been.  I tried to have a physical today at work so I have a “second opinion”, but they are all booked up.  I will probably have one when I get back, which will tell me how far I slid while on the cruise; hopefully not too bad.  I have this optimistic part of me that thinks I’ll work out on the ship.  Yeah, right! J
